Is this poem good enough to be submitted for publishing?

I've never sent a poem to be published before, and would like your opinion.

I got some thick skin, so lay it on me! Lol

Seeing You

The rain is drowning,

Work was regrettable,

The car wouldn’t start,

Today is worth frowning.

Now walking home,

Rain dripping down my chin,

There is no one out,

I feel very alone.

Opening the door,

Soaked through and dripping,

Thinking how terrible today was,

Muddy shoes on the floor.

Then you step in,

Cheeks glowing walking to me,

Drying my hair with a towel,

You kiss me still smiling.

Accompanying you to the kitchen,

Rain still splashing outside,

Handing me a cup of hot cocoa,

Then you ask and want to listen.

How was your day?

Looking at you forgetting everything,

Knowing you love me,

Not lying I had a perfect day.

Is this poem good enough to be submitted for publishing?
I think it is. And p.s. you never knoe unless you try
Reply:well.......where do you want it published? which newspaper? which magazine? there are some who says anybody's poems can be accepted etc...

but if youre entering a poem contest, im sorry to say but it didnt make much impact. im no expert though! its sweet but it needs more depth.
Reply:There is only one way to find out, submit it, and if your not happy with the outcome, do not give up.
